Faculty - Anna Modest, PhD, MPH

Dr. Modest obtained her BA in Health: Science, Society and Policy from Brandeis University, and her MPH and PhD in Epidemiology from the Boston University School of Public Health. She is a Staff Scientist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Instructor in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School.

In her current role at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, she supports the research efforts of trainees and faculty within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, including working closely with Female Pelvic Medicine and Reproductive Surgery fellows. She engages in teaching and education about proper epidemiologic methods and good study design, including reviewing fellow theses for the oral boards.
